Positive thing about yesterday

I didn't renew my season tickets. Looks like the best decision I've made in years!
I got season tickets for the first time, but I had a great time with my 2nd oldest coming for his first game. Bringing my kids this season and watching them have fun will be my only focus. They have no expectations about wins and losses, so I’m following their lead.

We got being let down out of the way. No more being disappointed this season mainly because I don’t care. Apathy has set in for me.

Weather was great
Box was great
Met Pat Swilling
Didn’t kill anybody after that öööö show on the field

Unfortunately that’s where the majority of the fan base has been for the last 5 years.

It was a nonconference game, so the only lasting effect is the embarrassment of the loss. Ideally, the loss snaps some sense into our coaches and anyone else that needs it and we get this team turned around in a hurry.

I brought my son (14). Sat down in our seats 90 minutes before kickoff so he could watch the kickers and punters warm up (he’s a kicker). He looked at his phone maybe 3 times the whole game. That doesn’t happen very often for kids his age. He had a great time - the loss had no bearings on that. It’s all about perspective.

Last game we attended was Citadel ‍♂️
