1) Taylor got some work in. He showed me a lot out there. He had some nice passes dropped and some called back on penalties. He didn't throw an interception. Not a bad day, but not enough to win it either.

2) Weaknesses were exposed. We can now work to improve them.

3) We'll probably face BC again in the ACC championship so it is good that we have already played them.

4) With this game over we can look forward to finally beating UVA in Charlottesville for the first time since 1990.

A few more:

Freshmen Burnett and Dwyer continue to impress.

Durant Brooks is a weapon.

We were 2 for 2 in the red zone (1 TD, 1 FG).

Dwyer looked good on KO returns. He almost broke one and you could see he was frustrated with himself afterwards.

Positives about the game is Thomas spoke up !

quote "We're going to have to do a better job with play-calling," Thomas said."

Gailey .....listen !!!!!
quote "I'll have to talk with him about that," Gailey said on Sunday.
For the record, Gailey didn't place the blame on new offensive coordinator John Bond.
"No, I don't think we lost the game because of play-calling," Gailey said.

..............but it certainly contributed to the loss.

Sorry but a freshman talking about play calling after his 3rd game is not a good thing. He needs to shut up and play football.

I don't have a problem with him calling out CJB, he should have just done it in private. That's where his immaturity shows. I'm sure it won't happen again!

I thought Bebe looked promising. Towards the latter part of the game, he was running routes well and finding himself open. He will grow w/ the game and be a great WR for GT. TB will work out his difficulties. Will he become a great QB? I don't think so, but he will manage the game. By the time he is ready to lead this team, however, I think Nesbitt or Booker will be as well.

I don't know John, I have a problem with a freshman saying much of anything. Especially one who hasn't done anything yet. I can see him asking about play calling or what we were trying to establish, but not suggesting that the OC can't call plays.

I missed that or just forgot, your right he shouldn't call out his OC, behind close doors either. Now suggesting things he sees is a bit different. I stand corrected.
