Post game thoughts

1) I don't think LSU stopped our TO like everyone in the sporting world thinks. I think we stopped ourselves the first half and got into a hole that we felt forced to throw ourselves out of. 24 throw att.

2) Les Miles is a dick. I was sitting behind some diehard LSU fans and they were ashamed to see the fake punt they apologized for the lack of class. I hope we see him in the very near future maybe a NC game?

3) I was worried about this game and I can't remember who but I remember reading a thread not to long ago from a poster here who nailed it. We thought way to much of ourselves. Got to cocky and forgot we were going to play LSU a top caliber team. Simply put we aren't good enough yet to overlook an opposing team. Think this years GW game

4) If you had your g/f or had to meet her to celebrate the new year yeah go away and meet them. Everyone else cheer on your damn team! Paper airplanes? Really? Pissed me off to see so many fair weather fans who didn't give a crap about the game. Just reminded me about the true nature of tech fans. My humble apologies to the tech players especially the Sr class we should have sent you off with a thank you not by throwing paper airplanes and leaving early when you guys needed some encouragement.

5) I feel great about the future of our program and look forward to what GT football can bring. I'm honestly devasted by the way we lost and hope we can restore some pride in our next bowl showing.:biggthumpup:

Great post. However, I wouldn't classify all tech fans together. Tech has their share of nerds, to be sure, but it also has its share of mature football fans.

My post game thoughts:

(1) The only thing worth remembering about last night is how much it hurt so we won't do it again. A hurtful loss because we were outplayed in every phase of the game. I stayed until the end because I love GT but the game was a total stinkfest.

(2) I can't wait til recruiting day so we can celebrate the great job Coach Giff et all have done.

(3) I can't wait til spring practice.

(4) I can't wait til August so we can start the whole thing over again. The ACC will bow before us next year.
