Dwyer clearly is a back that needs about 3-4 steps to get up to speed...and then...he is extremely dangerous. But...why do we continue to pound him up the middle. That is not where he is most effective...unless he has a major hole to run through...and let's face it...we haven't saw alot large holes in the last 3 games. I'll reference the Gardner Webb game...where we threw a screen to him on the weak side and he ran 80 yards for a TD. Why don't we focus more on getting him the ball in the open space?

I trust that CPJ will right the wrong. As good as Dwyer is, he is NOT the traditional BB, due to that he needs to make the reads himself, not the QB.

Good post. He is such a good back in the open field. Why can't we move him around in the offense a bit? I hate to see him get so many plays where he does not get the ball. And, we never give him a rest. Peerman had some time to rest and turned it on at the end.

Anthony Allen will probably be the B back next year along with Dwyer some. But we will mostly see him at A back where i think he is more explosive at.

Bad decesions by Josh not to pull the ball out .. and make the pitch

You mean like UVA did for Peerman today? They had an excellently crafted plan to attack us .... far better than ours to attack them.

Yep. On the first drive the pitch got us to the endzone quickly. But for some reason he stopped making that read the remainder of the game.

I don't know what game you were watching, but we ran the veer very little on our first drive. The first drive we kept running the sweep. There's no read there.
