This puts us at 6-6. With the crappy bowl game we will get we'll probably be 7-6 at year's end.
 
I agree with you except I'd say we lose to Clemson and beat Maryland. We might lose to UNC as well.

Rubber Games (3) - Maryland, Miami, VT

Probable Losses (2) - Clemson, UGA

So 4 or 5 more wins

How do you have us in the ACCCG with three conference losses? Is that even mathematically possible?

IMHO, if Galiey leaves look for Paul Johnson to take over.
 
The only reason I have us beating Clemson is because we have this freaky revenge win thing...

Yes. VT and Miami would have to lose 2 other conference games and UVA would have to lose 4 in conference. It is possible.

Remember what happened in the Atlantic division last year?
 
Clemson, Blowout Loss (way too good on offense for us to stay in the game)
Maryland, Win (If we lose, they are pathetic folks at QB, the era is over.)
Miami, Blowout Loss (way too tough for us)
Army, Win
VT, Win (No QB)
Duke, Win
UNC, Win
UGA, Blowout Loss (way too tough for us)

We also have a freaky streak of winning the ones we're not suppose to and losing they ones we're not suppose to. Hopefully the Jackets can turn it around against Clemson.

sure, I'd be shocked if any team in our division has less than three losses at year's end. UVA has the best chance of going 6-2 but I'd be shocked if they pull that off. I'm guessing a 3 or 4 way tie at 5-3 and if we are 4-1 in the division we would go to the ACCC game.

I might swap a rubber game for a loss, but yeah, that sounds right.

If we win UGA Chan keeps his job.
 
Here's my prediction. I think we lose to Clemson to start the season 2-3 (0-3 in the ACC) and I think this team crumbles, because they have not the heart or the character to recover as they've shown neither thus far. We will lose and then it going to be a tail spin. We'll lose to Miami, Maryland, probably beat VT, Duke and UNC to finish 3-5 in conference. We'll get our asses handed to us by UGA.

Not to use a bad Vick like cliche', but you can take the dog out of the fight, but you can't take the fight out of the dog. Problem is, our dog has no fight. This team doesn't have those type of character traits.
 
The character of the team seems fine to me, BOR. They haven't quit in a game yet. I know, because I don't quit watching until they quit playing, and I've watched or listened to all of every game so far. The kids have fight.

They lack the ability to catch wide open passes, to not false start on 4th and inches, and to field punt returns. That's what they lack. They have plenty of drive, they're just not particularly good.
