Just thought I would start a thread to see where people were predicting our guys to go...Regardless of where or if they're drafted or invited to "try out"....Let me be the first to say GOOD LUCK & continue to make GT PROUD...
No particular order:
1. Oliver
2. Choice
3. Wheeler
4. Brooks
5. Robertson

Just trying to get a feel for what the general opinion is....GOOD LUCK TO EACH ONE OF YOU!:biggthumpup:

Don't forget Guyton and J.Lewis.

I think Choice and Wheeler both go in the second round unless Wheeler puts up some freakish numbers at the combine, then he could move into the first. I think Robertson goes in the third and Guyton, Lewis maybe/hopefully in the last two rounds. Guyton has great measurables - He may run a sub 4.5 and is big. Oliver may not get drafted because of his injury. Do they even draft punters? I would think they would just be invited to come to camp and earn a spot, pretty much like in college as a preferred walkon.

Have you guys read that the senior bowl coaches are trying Robertson out at LB? I think MJ would make a BEAST NFL LB, but idk about Robertson.

Wheeler = late 2nd/early 3rd
Robo = late 2nd/early 3rd @ OLB for a 3-4 team. (late 3rd/early 4th round as a 4-3 DE)
Guyton = 5-6th round pick
Choice = Small & Slow 5th-6th round pick
Oliver - Not drafted. Free Agent
Brooks - 6th round
Grant - If he runs a 4.3 40, he will be a 7th round pick or a free agent KR/PR.

Maybe in goal line sets? I think they see some use for him on someone's staff at LB.

Wheeler - 2nd
Robertson - 3rd
Choice - 4th
Brooks - 5/6
Everyone else goes undrafted.

Robertson would be a stud OLB in a 3-4. He had 16 TFL and 6.5 sacks this past year. He fits physically at 6-5 250lbs. He's quick and apparently has been impressive at the Senior Bowl so far.

Who's this Grant guy that's "capable" of running a 4.3 40? That's up there with Deion Sanders and that d-bag DB with the Falcons.

Those sound about right.

But I don't really follow the NFL, so who knows?

The Chicago papers mentioned TC as a player that the Bears were talking to, which is a positive. The RB position in general can be an ambiguous one to target in the draft, i.e. two of the backs in the playoffs were undrafted free agents, another was a fifth rounder and another a fourth. Only Maroney @ NE was a 1st round pick and uber-RB LT watched most of the game from the sidelines. The draft certainly isn't a science at all.
