Surprised nobody else noticed this one. Many GT fans are picking us to lose up in Charlottesville based on history; so I'm interested in somebody picking Wyoming to beat them in Charlottesville next year.
 
I'll go somewhat out on a limb and say JMU hangs with UNC and it's a lot closer than you guys are predicting.

I don't think that's crazy. A lot of people caught up in the Davis-hype might forget that they still have to play the game!

As for the predictions, gtfan, I think I agree with all your winners (though that's not uncommon for the first week). However, I do think UVA will beat Wyoming. And, as much as it pains me to say it, UGA will most likely beat OkSt. I sucks that this is their first game, because I think they'd take those d-bags easily later in the year. Either way, I see it being a close game. Excellent picks! :fingersx:

Edit: And, oh yeah, I think BC will take WF by 10 points. Just my two cents...

Actually, UGA typically gets better as the year goes by (see 2006). They have so much depth that they can afford to get banged and bruised early in the year. This year may be a little different due to a shortage in depth at certain positions.

Yeah, I've noticed that about UGA too. Unfortunately, we've all had to live through it the past couple of years too.

But, I think it will be even more so with this OkSt. team. I watched them play Alabama in their bowl game last year, and was really impressed by what I saw. I think they've got a great shot at something special, but it'll probably take a game or two to iron out the kinks. That's why I think that UGA will probably win the game, as much as it pains me to say that.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I wanted to ask you guys a similar question. What do you predict for the midseason ACC/SEC games that are being played this year, specifically Alabama/FSU and LSU/VPISU?

I say FSU takes Alabama in a close one. I think FSU regains some of its prominence this year and that we will meet them in Jax for the ACC Championship game.

Im taking LSU over VT. The hookies don't really have an expierenced QB and LSU's D will make them pay for that. I think its a toss up between LSU and UF to win the SEC this year.
