Pressley Harvin

That's a joke, but should we really be surprised? Our 2014 team was arguably the best offense in college football that season, yet we had ZERO first team offensive players.

Hate to be a downer but he sure had a sub-par day Saturday. I guess mediocrity is contagious.

Not sure what's funny. We ranked 3rd in FEI that year and 4th in S&P, and pretty much ran at will on UGA, FSU, and Miss St at the end of the season after blowing out everyone on the back end of our schedule.

It was either before the FSU game or before the bowl games, but at one point the offense was so statistically good via FEI that it practically broke the measure. Hit an efficiency of like .98 or something when the next highest was like .91

Great question. It's mind boggling, but a third of our fan base just flat out hates themselves and our team.

And I hate them.

So much this. A word that I find annoying in political discussions but apt when describing our fanbase is "cuck."

I have some alumni friends that, for lack of a better word, are just pussies. They preemptively denigrate the team (publicly, not just "in the family") - lots of "well, we're ready to take a beatdown" or "I know we're going to lose, probably badly" posts on social media) when things look dark. I'm the most pessimistic guy in the world, but I'll be damned if I'll give opponents the satisfaction of admitting defeat before kickoff. I think they're just emotionally weak and think that if they resign themselves to losses ahead of time, then they won't feel so bad if we lose. I just roll my eyes when we turn around and win and they're celebrating (or even better, when they gave up and left and then we came back and won).

I also despise the "well, actually" people who feel the need to compliment or defend U[sic]GA in the name of being "fair" or "even handed." öööö those guys - they're the enemy.

Back in the day (and maybe we're seeing this make a comeback), we had a vocal contingent who talked about how we don't travel to bowl games, despite evidence that we're pretty comparable to any other middle-of-the-pack ACC team going to middle-of-the-pack bowls.

It's all part of the Yetman syndrome - our fans are too contrarian and too smart for their own good. A little unbridled emotion and irrational fandom would go a long way toward improving a lot of things around our program - attendance, quality of crowds (rowdiness, white outs, etc.), and financial support, at the very least.

Remember that year with Tevin where we were scoring a TD in our first offensive play from scrimmage (at least for the first few games). Good times.

That was such a weird season. We had an amazing first half, and a lousy second half sans a big win over Clemson on Halloween weekend. Then the bowl game vs. Utah was basically a microcosm of the season: great start to the game, terrible finish.

I'd like to see him work with quarterbacks again. Guy almost always made the right read in this offense.

Well, actually, öööö Georgia.

If I voted on first team all ACC, my ballot would say “Clemson and Pressley Harvin III”

Debatable... I remember a few losses to open a season where he made an absolutely terrible decision that cost us the game on a final play/drive. The year we opened at VT
