Counting today's punts, his season average would be 46.2 yards, which would put him at #8 in the country last week. #2 among freshmen
 
A punter can win you a game by flipping the field and gaining field position. Look forward to 3.4 more years of this kid.
 
Great punter. The 60 yarder against Miami should’ve won us the game.
 
The funny thing is, his style actually hurts his pointing distance a little bit, but it makes the points completely unreturnable most times.
 
He's listed now at #7. It says 30 punts in 7 games for a 46.0 yd avg. So their stats may be off assuming info above is correct.

Ah. If they had him at 21 punts before, that would've been 3.5 punts per game, below the 3.6 minimum.

I wonder whose stats are wrong, NCAA or GT.

Third option: Neither is wrong. The stats you've linked to from GT include the Clemson game.

UNCAA number of punts is correct. They are apparently better at adding than they are at determining appropriate penalties for rules violations.
 
It took some time but lads, we finally have a true option punter. The future is looking bright.
