:biggthumpup: From the AJC just thought I would post it here b/c not too many people read the baseball section!

After UGA fans posted a "NERDS" sign over the Ga. Tech dugout, Tech outfielder Luke Murton (No. 34) countered with a sign of his own. Murton also got the best of UGA with his bat Wednesday in Athens.

GO JACKETS!!
 
I saw that last night on the telecast. Very nicely done Jackets! :biggthumpup:

Not exactly sure what you mean. I didn't look or see anyone had posted or commented on this picture prior to posting it...Just read the AJC online & thought I would post it......

ok....my bad....didn't read your post. Posting messages on here is not an exact science...Don't believe that everyone is going to preview all posts prior to making one of their own. Especially when the headline on the threads aren't a dead giveaway of what is in the thread...My apologies....

To clear the record:
The JACKET posted his thread first...I didn't copy it or try to steal his thunder. I just posted what I read in the paper.

On a side note the general mood on this board is changing. More & more people attacking fellow fans b/c of small issues & all of the sudden it goes into a 15 page onslaught of banter back/forth....Remember it were all pulling for the same team.

Will someone please comment on "The Jacket" thread...I accidently posted the same picture & made comments. Jacket sorry for the oversight.

LOL... the check is in the mail....thanks for the good natured reply...

Truth of the matter is we're both just recylcing info & in this case a photo of something neither of us "created" so...the real props go to the photographer & the AJC...for this story making it to the press...
Every once in a while the AJC does run a decent for...just when you think they have "flat lined" they show a pulse...:rolleyes:
 
I'm pretty sure that guy in the hat (directly above the sign) works for UGA in some regards to their radio communications/set-up.

He was following his nephew (also a UGA fan) around in a golf tournament last year. I was paired with the nephew and I was decked out in full Tech gear. I kicked his ass and won my division by 5 shots. The guy would not STFU about UGA.

So yeah, I l'm a lookin' and I'm a likin'.
 
At the risk of being labeled 'picky', why are we talking about baseball on the football thread?
 
I just had some 40 year old cashier at Target tying to talk junk at me about how the Ugag baseball team is better. Since I worked at Target when I was 16, Luke's sign could have been 100% true, but I had higher aspirations than having the master key to the jewelry case.
 
My son had great seats at the game last night, next to Ray Goff, thanks to a UGA friend. But Goff got there late and they wouldn't let him in, too many people in the stands! Another Tech guy close to my son commented that this could only happen at UGA, but my son corrected him by saying that our ticket office trumps this easily most everyday.
