In lieu of the first line in this article:

http://www.ajc.com/gatech/content/sports/gatech/stories/2008/11/01/georgia_tech_offensive_line.html

With all the offensive line bashing that we (me especially) do on the boards, I thought it be appropriate to give our o-line props for showing us that they're making progress and are in fact improving.

Jon's post game interview summarizes it best
When you got the handoff on that touchdown, how big was that hole?
"One of the biggest holes I've ever ran through. The offensive line did a great job and Nick Claytor got a big block on the 60-yard run. The offensive line came out from the beginning and made everything easier for Josh and me and that shows how good this offense can really be."

uh oooooo We all may end up in the chutes with these boys one day. Pad up !

Well that answers two questions. One, yes players read the message boards. And two, good/well coached players will use negative posts as motivation, as they should. And yes, they deserve props today. Great game by everyone!

Major props to those guys. They got the job done today. Nesbitt had time on his reads 90% of the time and had time on his throws as well. This is what our offense is capable of every week when our QB had time to work through his reads.

Great job out there guys. Keep working hard.

I hate that. There is often critiquing of the team that is intelligent even if intense, but there are a few nutjobs that I wish the players that do read the boards would be spared.

Watched the whole game, both Dwyer TD's were gaping holes, pitch seal blocks were excellent, finally they showed up against a more than worthy defensive opponent. Go jackets

Our O line played amazing. I think we've finally found our starting 5.

This is what happens when the oline keeps their feet moving enabling them to get too the second level. A job well done.

The Oline play was great. I hoped we had it in us and we did.

That we could win with all the injured Defensive players means the future is bright.

Get well, Josh!

Major Props to the o-line. Claytor definitely has earned a starting spot. They played great yesterday. Even Dan Voss played an excellent game, constantly getting double teamed by 2 big DTs. Jaybo's first snap fumble was one of few miscues. To block well against that pincer attack is great. Dwyer consistently got 3 yards on the dive play.

Heck, I thought Claytor played lights out. Voss surprised the hell out of me today. He really played great as well.

Props all around to these guys. Now let's keep it up for next weekend.

Nick Claytor was awesome. On the JD touchdown runs there was nice holes. One of the holes was big enough to drive a truck through. A diesel truck if you will.

I have been vocal as well, so I will also say, very good job to the OLINE:biggthumpup:

I wonder if we did much different technique wise.

Yes, the o-line did play well this game. Unfortunately a huge breakdown had to come right as Jaybo stepped into the game.

I've been very critical of the OL, so I'm more than happy to give them credit. Hell, on Dwyer's first TD run Dan Voss blocked both nose tackles.

Hell if they read the boards maybe we just need to tell them they suck every week and we can get more results like this.
