I had lost total confidence in him and thought someone else should get a shot at the Miami game. However, he came through.
Glad to see this young man pull it together in such a huge game!! Congrats!

Hope He Builds On It!

Having Bell regain consistent form would be huge for us in the post-season.

I guess I hadn't given up, but I had not confidence in him

I would cringe when he would come in. But the great thing about place kickers is so much of it is confidence that he should be able to build on Saturday. If he can get off to a good start the next game he might be set for the season. And you're right, Techbert. How many big games are decided by a field goal? Seems like 'bout all of 'em.

Not the best of conditions to kick in either.

Did anyone else notice how much the wind died down in the moments before his FG toward the North stands (into the wind)? The flags for most of the game were fully extended because of the wind - during his kick and a couple of Brook's punts, the flags were pretty motionless.

Well that explains it, God hates Miami :)... even though south florida does tend to be his waiting room.
