I wish we kept CCK. Roof isn't bad, but I felt like CCK earned it. Did FSU just outbid us or did they come later?

Pruitt at Bama only helps UGA. They have the Bama playbook and body of knowledge through Kirby without the issues that Pruitt brings.

No Kelly went to FSU ad coached DBs for a year under Pruitt I think. Or under someone.

I also wonder what FSU saw and Auburn saw but CPJ did not see...

I thought I read somewhere that CPJ offered him the job, but when CCK got the offer from FSU the money was more we could match.

I don't remember where I read this so it could be full of crap :dunno::crapstorm:
 
No Kelly was given opportunity to stay on Roof's staff. He turned it down, went to FSU as position coach, then got the DC gig when Pruitt went to ugag.

Everybody poaches GA but you have to figure most of the dumbasses who don't have direct links to any school who grow up in GA grow up their fans by default
 
Kelly was not going to stay. He didn't just go be a position coach at FSU, he was told he would be the DC. He left and he was not going to be staying here according to what I heard
