Pruitt fired, Fulmer retiring

Yeah heads are rolling up here in K town. They have been rumoring about it for weeks.

Like no one could see this coming when he was hired. Pruitt seems to have an unstable personality.

Looks like Tennessee delayed until they had enough evidence to fire with cause and avoid a buyout. I'm guessing a Pruitt lawsuit is next up and is gonna get messy unless the vowels settle

No it isn’t...
They’ll fire you in 3 years and dig for some lame reason to not pay a buyout. What dream opportunity is that?
I am assuming, perhaps erroneously, that the contract terms of an up-and-coming young coach would be favorable to an extended period of time to turn things around. The mondo buyout clause's are typically part of the big name coaches and not so much the younger/newer guys.

At some point, TN needs to come to terms that they need to start over.

You can go from position coach to HC and have a huge budget with lots of incentives. It's a risk, but one many would take.

So, how likely is it that he only started this at UT, after being at ugag & Bama ?
