If the guys we have stop fumbling then we will no longer need guys who aren't going to fumble, because, you know, they'll be those guys.

Someone posted on the AJC blog that the only fumble in yesterday's practice was by a receiver after the catch - none by a QB, RB or failed snap. But the blog was focused on injuries

The hatchet job continues.

There is no longer any reason to click on any AUC link. They fired Barnhart yesterday. All that's left are cheap hacks and handwaving freakoutery. They've become the O'Reily Factor of local sports media.
 
Let the stories of our fumbling grow. I hope other teams take time to practice trying to strip the ball instead of solo tackling. That will lead to huge plays for our offense, if they don't fumble.

The problem I think is the fumbling from the pitches.

Or alternately, they'll practice form tackling since they'll know we're likely to put the ball on the mat 3 to 5 times per game.


Not that that'd be significantly different than the Reggie Ball era, but still..
 
I like the fact that AJC had pretty much daily practice coverage.

The important part of the particle was that only mishap Nesbitt had was that he didn't throw well. In other words, no problems reported on fumbling/pitches/snaps, and that's the great part.

There are still a lot more practices left. I feel much more confident now that we will be in good shape. JackState is getting steamrolled.
