This is why I don't think Knowles will end up being the guy. I just don't see him as being athletic enough to run the GT offense.#15 = Mendoza
#9 = Grady Adamson
#14 = Graham Knowles
Watching the 3 of them throw from a pure athleticism standpoint, Mendoza and Adamson stand out to me. Both have quick, efficient releases.
I should have prefaced my statement by saying I am clueless when it comes to picking this stuff in football. I was basing my eval purely on athleticism and throwing motions but playing QB is much more about being able to read the defense before the play and make adjustments accordingly. And then reading the defense after the snap while an insane amount of data points are being processed in real time and getting the ball to the proper place. This is why I don't think Knowles will end up being the guy. I just don't see him as being athletic enough to run the GT offense.
So he lettered in basketball in HS, but somehow you've determined he isn't athletic enough? This is why I don't think Knowles will end up being the guy. I just don't see him as being athletic enough to run the GT offense.
Waste.Well, it is really 3.5 yards
1st down, stretch out, gain 3.5 yards.
2nd down, 6.5 yards to go, snap, stretch, gain 3.5 yards
3rd down, 3 yards to go, snap, stretch, gain 3.5 yards.......FIRST DOWN, GEORGIA TECH! (cue steam whistle)
Repeat until breaking plane of opponent's endzone.
It is unstoppable. We will win every game we play.
You're right. I am wasting a death march opportunityWaste.
All you needs is 2.51 yards per play.
