Did anyone notice that When TB came in, they didn't even try to run a couple of passing plays. I know we just wanted to get out of there with 2:00 left, but cmon. Why are we SO stubborn with QB play?

You beat me to the punch 76. I thought that it was truly pathetic that TB did not attempt a pass. How will that prepare him for the future? In a big blowout like that #2 should be running the complete offensive package. If he's ever needed in the future, he's not going to be ready.

That's just what we do, man. If you don't like it, go over to buzz-off. (just kidding ;) )

It is ridiculous. Whenever we go second unit it is to run out the clock, whether we are up or down.
My bitter side says he does it just so he has the excuse of having a rookie qb.

Well at least he got some reps. But, I would have liked to see TB to throw it a little.

I agree totally. I thought TB should have been in for the entire fourth quarter and should have been given the complete arsenal (or his complete arsenal, which I have to believe includes a pass play or two) to play with.

TB should've been in there after the first few times RB pulled up lame....especially early in the 3rd quarter when the team still came out FLAT early on...Could not have hurt a thing (especially seeing how things ended)...It was so hard to commend RB for his efforts....just like one of the commentators said "RB was HURTING the team by not letting the coach know how bad he was hurt or being slowed due to his injuries hampering him".....SO FLUSTRATING! to watch #21 go UNUSED all night long....who can expect him to stick around to be a DECOY for another year when he can be a MULTI MILLION AIRE in the NFL where the owners will BUILD A FRANCHISE around him....I wanted to see Reggie pulled early & have someone else given a shot.... Next question, has J Evans progression SLOWED down of what we saw glimpses of in the preseason???? I regret that we BURNED his RS year to watch him return punts & come in last night last 2 min to run out the CLOCK....I was so upset that they pulled Reggie...he should have had to WALLOW in the MESS he had spent the 3 2/3 of the game creating....Is insult to injury to send your back up quater in there to "bus the table" of the game when Reggie had played his worst game of the year....Reggie should've been forced to finish what he started.....

I have no beef with not calling passing plays with Bennett at the end of the game. The game was over.

THIS is my beef:

Reggie is our best option at QB because of his speed and his arm strength. If he's hurt so bad he can't run and can't step into his passes, then there's no reason left to keep him on the field. As injured as he was, we all knew he couldn't win the game for us. If we aren't going to win with Option A, I see no reason not to try Option B.
