With a week off, Reggie Ball did not look too healthy overall.

Can someone who has seen them practice say whether he has a back up that can play well enough for us to a win if RB can't play?

For the same reason we've lost every game where College gameday showed up: college gameday games and games after bye weeks have disproportionately been against good teams. Didn't look at the 2002 and 2003, but here's the team's we've played after bye weeks.

2004: VPI (L)
2005: NC State (L), Clemson (W)
2006: Clemson (L)

I'll be the first to admit that NC State wasn't exactly a "good" team last year, but we certainly had a match up problem against that all-world DLine.
