The times when Tech has been unstoppable over the last decade are when they have had a QB who could run the option, throw from the pro-set, read defenses at the line and make adjustments, and handle the ball fake to throw the defense off balance. Specifically, Joe Hamilton and Sean Jones added each of these features. The QB's in between and since have not been as mobile. The ability to read a defense and the ball faking art are learned skills. The mobility to run the option and throw accurately are God-given, by and large. With these thoughts in mind, why do you feel we have not recruited accordingly over the last several years.
Bilbo has one of the strongest arms available and can run when needed, but he looks awful clumsy running the option. He only did it twice this year. Godsey was not mobile. Hall was mobile but slow. Logan was turned into WR. Camp is slow. Suggs cannot outrun my Grandmother, God bless her. What are your thoughts?
