Question for demjackets...

Either way he wasn't going to be here this year. He knew that so went job hunting. He will always say he left on his own but he wouldn't of been a coach here anymore that is why he left. He saw the writing on the wall he would not be back. Saturday should be fun. I know Tenuta can't wait.

Its no secret that Nix and JT didn't get along very well, so heres hoping that the big man spent a little extra time at the blackboard this week to make sure things get taken care of for our last trip to the OB.

I gotta think this week is going to depend on the planning and execution of the defensive side of the ball, Taylor/Choice should be able to give us a few points agianst "da U" but if they're lighting us up thats not going to do much good. Going to be a hard fought game by our D-Line and a lot of the result will be their responsibility.

We are going to slaughter Miami.

Duke had Miami beat - first down on the Cane's 30 trailing by 3 (14-17) with time running out. Of course Duke is Duke so they imploded but still.

Miami stinks and their secondary is terrible. Bennett is going to have the game of his life while Tenuta orchestrates a masterful stunt/blitz package that will send their offense off the field in a punch-drunk stupor while Nix stands slack-jawed on the sidelines unable to respond to Kyle Wright's desperate pleas for a road map out of the hell on earth our Defense creates for them.

Miami may not cross midfield this Saturday and may not get a first down during the game.

Meanwhile, between Bennett's laser-guided surgical strikes deep into the Cane's secondary, TC, Grant, Evans and Dwyer will run around, over and through Miami's defense so hard and so often that they'll be given honorary property deeds to the Cane's endzone.

Tech 51, Miami 0

It isn't going to be pretty, folks.
