How is Harrison doing ??

Missed both of you at the Tech Lineman Camp at Tech during the summer..

Kirby is now 230 and playing Center only..

John,

He's doing fine, he lost 25 pounds over wrestling and has fought like hell to get back to 210. He practiced with the varsity this summer and then moved back to 9th grade when they started. He is playing strong tackle and NG/DE. He will dress with the varsity this year and may get some playing time near the end of the season per Ed Dudley, depending how he progresses. Are we playing you guys this fall 9th grade. I forget what school Kirby goes too.
 
Kirby & Harrison ..

Kirby plays for Chattahoochee . He also worked out with the Varsity and is now 9th grade. He may play only a few plays on the Varsity at best at the end of a game. We have only 2 seniors who start on the Varsity, One of which is Brandon Cross who is Randy Cross's son. He is a Very Good QB who has verbaled to Wake Forest !

I liked it better when Kirby And Harrison played together on the All-Star Team !!
 
fridgemover--Ed Dudley...is he still coaching Walton? I graduated from there in '04 and haven't really been keeping up with the football program since we got to the Dome the next year. What's the outlook on the team this season?

Had our annual dinner last night and he is optimistic about the year. We lost over 20 seniors last year but he also calls this 9th through 12th grade classes one of the best groups he's had. Alot depends on injuries (duh) but some younger guys will need to step up as well. Ed's got a great system in place and he's close to retiring so he needs to get his State Championship soon, hopefully while Harrison is there.
 
My nephew's a senior at Walton this year. Not a footballer but still. Go Raiders!

What if your nephew went to a devil worshiping school (eg UGA)? Would you still root for them just because your nephew goes there?

That would be: e.g., UGA

Oh, and "devil worshipping" should be hyphenated.

And that wouldn't be root for "them" it would be root for "it". School is not a "them." In addition, the antecedent of a pronoun has to be in the same sentence.

Our Dad , Tech QB Jimmy Southard was a 3 year starter and is a Tech Hall of Famer ...

My Code name of 33 is because that was the number he wore at Tech !!

Ed Dudley is a good football coach. He was one of Coach Scott's (The late Ben Scott) assistant coaches when I played at Carrollton in the late 80's. I knew back then that both Dudley and Conley (Chuck Conley) would go on to be successful coaches. We had a great staff.

When it comes to insulting UGA you have to use anything and everything at your disposal!
I see just as many people use "UGAy" as "UGAg" or "U[sic]GA"... So I figured I would add it to the list.

Oh ugaggers will feel insulted, for what's it worth, most of the football watching crowd will feel insulted if u called them gay. I know it doesn't sound right but there is a lot of 'issues' still around. And there will be for the near future.

I try to not use that one myself, but it sure will work, especially with the dawgs, piss on them. Btw, it's also not fair for gays to be held same as ugaggers!
