Question for Students - Away Game Tickets?

I'm a first year grad student at Tech. Been a fan since middle school and I'm pumped to finally be watching the games from The Swarm section

I'm wondering how away game tickets work. I'm considering going to the UNC game and CERTAINLY want to go to the U[sic]GA game (even though I hate Athens and left there with a MASSIVE headache in 06) but don't know how tickets work for students to away games. If someone could fill in a clueless fan it'd be great!

U[sic]GA tickets will be distributed via student lottery, as the demand is so high. That should happen a couple weeks before gameday.

UNC tickets are on sale right now, but I am not entirely sure if there is actual student seating that you can get. I need to find out though, as I will also be attending.
