Will option Offensive Linemen be able to mug the Defensive Linemen as in beat them up over the course of the game?

I have seen the Double Wing and it allows the OL to just beat the pulp out of the DL as well as wear out the LB's and CB's. Any similarities to Coach Johnson's scheme?
