So now that the initial smoke is cleared, it got me wondering:
1. Who exactly is paying the buyout?
2. Sounds like Clown was treated harshly when he was fired. I wonder if GT tried to negotiate the buyout and he was uncooperative and then GT decided to show him no love on way out?

Treated harshly my ass. Would your boss let you straight up fail for 3.5 and a half before "firing you graciously?"

While we’re at it, questions pop into my head about this situation.

I wonder if Choice is second-guessing his decision to leave. I thought all-along that his departure was a vote of no-confidence in the clown. I bet Choice would have benefitted from reporting to Chip Long and would have learned a lot.

a chance to go to So Cal and work for Lincoln Riley - before going to Texas?
Maybe coming to a realization that Clown was running a program of buffoonery played a factor. But I think the chance to go to USC and get in with a coach who has aspirations of winning a natty was bigger. Then Texas came calling, so that was that.

My interpretation was that he couldn’t get out of here fast enough. I think he would have taken the same job at Georgia State had they offered. But we will never know. Who knows, maybe the new HC invites him back.

Anything less than an elbow drop from the top rope and Collins didn't get the treatment he deserved.

I read the harsh treatment was fake news.

No, just working my ass off selling real estate in this crazy market. I missed you too:)

Eat your hear out, JJ.
I meant to say “eat your heart out” but the dumb edit window has made it difficult to make routine edits because, as you know, öööö ups over 5 minutes old need to be preserved for paleo-anthropologists for at least 50,000 years so they can figure out why there are so many CPJ posts years after he left and for a bunch of other incomprehensible reasons.

Good ööööing grief this place has gone downhill layely. See what i mean? I can’t edit to fix this.

So tell us how you really feel:biggrin: I always try to read over my comments multiple times because you know if you make a typo on here, the grammar police swarm in like a disturbed yellow jacket nest at a tailgate. Another issue is having to get on the World Wide Web of the 90’s to get on here. Back when we could use the Tapatalk app, it was so much easier.
