Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

ESPN tracks a stat called "disrupted dropbacks," which is essentially all the times when a defense records a sack, interception, batted pass or pass defended. Divide that by the number of dropbacks that defense has faced, and you get an idea at how effective it is at rattling opposing QBs. Georgia Tech? It ranked dead last among Power 5 defenses last year. So, um, not real good.

Beat Georgia.

I love how a blog titled "Why your team won't win the ACC" has the phrase "this is Miami's year" in it. DA U IS BACK

Adelson blurb about who could beat Clemson:

Georgia Tech: The crossover rivals meet Oct. 28 in Death Valley. There are some (myself included) who are giving the Yellow Jackets a strong chance to win the Coastal Division because of an improving offensive line, Dedrick Mills and experienced backs returning, and confidence in new starting quarterback Matthew Jordan. But the defense has been inconsistent at stopping the run and getting after the quarterback, and that will pose a problem against Clemson, which already has the edge in one-on-one matchups against the Georgia Tech secondary.

Is this a kiss of death type thing?

Justin Thomas ran that offense as well as anyone, but I'm not sure it had much to do with body type. He just understood what the offense should be and he had the skill set to execute it. Paul Johnson has had ample success with bigger guys (Josh Nesbitt, Tevin Washington) and smaller ones like Thomas. Thomas' frame probably hurt him a bit in 2014, when the rest of the backfield struggled, but if everyone's doing their job, the size of the QB probably doesn't matter all that much.

Tevin Washington was big?

Tevin Washington was big?

I met Tevin and ran into him several times at my ex-gf's apartment building. He was my size maybe slightly bigger. Justin on the other hand is smaller than him. But I wouldn't consider either of them big.

Wonder why Tevin was at your girlfriend's apartment building?
