I just watched the replay of the end of the game on my DVR and had these observations/thoughts:

(1) Holy ****, just jump on the ball dude.

(2) Just after the official announces the results of the official review (confirmed, touchback) Paul Johnson is shown and he looks vaguely pissed. Now, this is the moment we have almost officially won the game (barring a fumble from the victory formation). And PJ did not look happy. I think he was either fuming about how Reid shoud have just fallen on the ball or (more likely) he was just generally disappointed still that we almost lost. I love it. And this is not necessarily always his demeanor. For example, when Navy beat Notre Dame last year, he was screaming and jumping and going nuts and laughing and high-fiving guys. This was different. Coach Johnson expected to win this game and was dissapointed that it was close.

(3) There's a great shot on the ESPN broadcast that shows the sideline celebrating after we recovered the fumble which also shows on the ticker "Florida 42, Georgia 3." Man I wish I could make that my wallpaper.

(4) At the hand shake, Paul Johnson made Bobby Bowden look like an elderly Oompa-Loompa. Is Coach PJ really that tall or is Bobby really that short?

(5) I have to admit: I'm glad we rushed the field. It probably made the team feel great and the ending justified it.

(6) I think we have a great shot to beat uGA.

Since he did eventually get it back for us and since he's a true freshman, I forgave him already. :D

I dare you to watch the replay without thinking to yourself, "JUST JUMP ON IT JUMP ON IT JUMP ON IT AHHHHHHHH" even though you already know the outcome. :)

finally we get a break against the s'holes... how did we ever come up with the ball in the end zone - hopefully I can sober up tomorrow

Posted on ESPN, a quote by Bobby Bowden:
"I'm proud of our boys for fighting back," Bowden said. "We simply couldn't stop the wishbone. We could not stop it. They just get too far ahead. That's the last time we'll see it this year."

Hehe, now it's making me wonder if they actually had their scout team in wishbone formation during practice.

That was the A Team refs, Jack Childress and his crew, they sucked like the F-team did last week. When was holding make OK by the ACC Comish?

Someone needs to figure out a way to make this happen ASAP.

FSU's success on the stretch running plays was entirely due to their holding, particularly Morgan.

Holding occurs on every play. It's especially hard to get called when it's in the endzone, which there definitely was. It goes both ways.

I was at the stadium and heard about it and didn't think it was that big of a deal. Then I saw the replay and I nearly had a heart attack. He should be running laps next practice.

I am in the same boat. It was completely unjustified from a fan/observer's perspective. Radakovich was there and told us not to do it, but when the other side of the field spilled out, there was no stopping it. It wasn't a big win from a national perspective, but I think this will help our team's confidence tremendously, to be honest. We are all still 100% behind them, even after the disappointing UVA loss.

he's the dumb son of a bitch who gave the game in 2006 to the dawgs on the no call fumble
