I remember Bill Wagner saying Paul Johnson learned the run and shoot from June Jones. But when did he work with Jones? Or when did he learn the system from Jones?

He was the OC at Hawai'i from 1987-1994. Apparently his offense was quite prolific in the ways of passing, too.

June Jones was a grad asst at Hawaii in 1983 and didnt come back until he was the HC after 2000. I dont know where they may have crossed paths.
