1. Great effort. Great defense for most of the game. I think we were just too worn out to stop them the last 2 drives.
2. WTF was with going for 1? There is no defense for that. We're a Blankety, blankety engineering school. Every last one of us took a heaping pile of math. Somebody sit gailey down and explain the fundamentals of counting.
3. Great coaching job to get a 24 pt spread down to a 1 point game. There are no moral victories in football, but this is as close as they come.
4. Ball is a player. He did all he could do in that situation.
5. We should beat CU, Wake, Duke, UNC and Vandy. Furthermore, UVA is very winnable. If UVA could surrender 31 points to that very, very bad SC team that embarrassed themselves vs. UGag Sat then we can score a big pile of points on them. I see 7 wins for the first time being very doable.
6. We still aren't playing enough kids. We don't have depth. We're fading fast in the final 5-10 minutes. We're losing some big time players after this season, we better get our act together and develop some younger players.
7. UGag's defense is SCARY.
8. FSU will go as far as Rix takes them. And if he has many more games like Sat, it won't be far.
