I had a discussion with a buddy of mine about this just the other day. He was wondering how we do as well as we do in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Ohio. I told him we are pretty much hated in Georgia, but respected elsewhere.

Most people I meet when I travel have a great respect for a GT degree. If a kid from Louisiana doesn't want to go to LSU, GT is a great option.

Good point, though I'm not sure we're as much 'hated' in Georgia, as we are just disrespected and marginalized.
