RC Giff Smith says "we're on schedule"

In the words of CCG ... "If we can talk you into it (commitment), someone else can talk you out of it."

We tell them what Tech has to offer and it's ultimately their choice. It's a "customer centric" sales approach and it is the way to approach today's youth. I can tell you that as someone who deals with the same age group for other reasons, i.e., Air Force Recruiting!

Kids are smarter these days and that plays in our favor for the Jackets! With the technical revolution, kids are looking at academics more now than ever before and it's not just eyewash.

We'll be fine folks. We're on a NUMBER of highly rated recruits ... not that it matters with early GT offers. Our staff is among the best in evaluations and ANY early offer is good enough for me, regardless.

Smith also states that "we don't pressure kids into early decisions". Seems like Tech had a lot of early commits last yr:dunno:.

We are running the same pace as last year...the other guys' commits are just much earlier this year.

When you say that we were rolling in early commits last year, it's important to remember the actual dates. Unless I'm forgetting, Threet committed around July 4th last year, the anniversary of which is still a loooooong month and a half from today's date. Yeah, it'd be sweet to have a slew of early commits now, but you're pushing up the imaginary frenzy deadline. Wait at least 2 more weeks before panicking.
