Realistic Bowl Outlook

Going to a bowl? Yes, seems that way. But Tech still needs to steal at least one, preferably two, of those final three to be reasonably assured of playing east of the Mississippi.

People keep saying this. Their QBs (as a whole) were 10/23 for 107. It's not like these backup QBs burned Tech or something.

Yeah, why are people hating on the defense? The freakin offense was pathetic, and ST were a disaster (minus the FGs). That 4TH STRING QB wasn't running amuck in our backfield busting up plays was he?

I will seriously be happy with this season if we beat UGA and go to the tire bowl. If Wake's receivers could get open enough that their fourth string QB could look decent, then we don't have much hope of doing better than that.

Completely agree. He barely got 100 yards. Grobe didn't put him in the position to throw picks or get sacked. It was mainly dink dunk passes. If you are going to wig out about the game, wig out about the fact that Duke scored 42 points on Wake, not about the defense.
