I agree that the passing game was very poor last week and has not been a strong point for Nesbitt. However, I don't think it's all him. We really need the WR's to step up IMO. We have too many drops and mistakes. I can think of several examples from last year that were touchdown catches if not for mistakes. One against LSU where the defender ripped the ball out of the receivers' hands after he caught it. The one against Clemson that could have been caught it the receivers' hands were outstreched.
This year looks similar. I think it was the 2nd interception against Clemson where Nesbitt pump faked and the receiver stopped running full speed and lost the little bit of separation he had from his defender. The defender had a size advantage so once he lost separation it was tough for him to get a jump ball.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I think the receivers making these mistakes is the other major factor that I haven't seen mentioned.
