Unless I'm mistaken,
we not only lost a game Saturday but also the last edge that we held over UGA.
I'm not finding the records that I'm looking for right now but I'm almost for sure GT has held a lead of seven conscecutive wins over UGA for a number of years now.
If this is true, we just lost that advantage with CCG's 6th loss because GOL's last season loss would have started this seven game losing streak.

We beat those clowns EIGHT STRAIGHT when Dodd was here.

So we still own the longest streak.

Yep --eight straight over UGA from '49-'56.

Longest winning streaks in the series:

8 -GT 1949-1956
7 -GA 2001-current
7- GA 1991-1997
6- GA 1978-1984
5- GA 1964-1968
5- GT 1904-1909 (no game in '08)

That is the reason they have Theron Sapp in such high esteem. He broke the drought. Also the reason they like CG and RB.
