I just read a report that said that 30 Georgia high school players have already given verbal commitments to Division 1 college programs.

Number of these commitments to TECH???

For me the source has been Borderwars recruiting service (run by Rivals now). Have been subscribing for 5 years and this where I can agree with Beeware. Unless verbals change he's right!

Different perspective - Chan has said from day 1 that recruiting GA was VIP and he hoped to have at least 50% of our recruits from in-state.
You can also look at his comment in the media guide.

Doesn't mean he will, but it does mean he realizes the importance.
Also, using Insiders DB:
For 4 stars or &gt; listing GT- 3 from FL, 6 from GA and 1 from TX.
For 3 stars or &gt; listing GT- 6 from FL, 28 from GA and 6 from TX.
I'm sure we all would prefer that mucho verbals from GA were already in hand, but let's not be rediculous about it.
