USA Today did a compilation of spending on recruiting from 2017-2022:
Good news, or perhaps not so good news depending on your perspective of it, for 2022 we are 3rd in the ACC in recruitment budget, at $1.2 million, just behind 2nd place UNC at $1.3. The bad or worse news is we just slightly better than 1/3 of Clemson at $3.5 mil. Even worse, the team in Athens spends more than anyone, $4.5 mil.
College football recruiting expenses by conference: SEC stands out as Georgia spends big for success in 2022
The Dawgs have spent more than $16 million over the past six years for success both on the field and recruiting trail
