Recruiting this weekend

Omoregie Uzzi is supposed to be there. I am not sure about any others. I think that there is supposed to be a big basketball recruit there also...Sylvan Landesgerg? I don't really keep up with basketball like I do with football. Maybe someone has some additional information.
 
Thought there were also a couple of longshots from California that would be in attendance?

Unfortunately, no. Brandon Leslie is coming on the 29th. Robert Golden's grades did not qualify him for an offer. We parted ways with Stuckey because we are about full at line backer. Kavienga is committed to UCLA and he too is a linebacker.

I am sure that there will be others in attendance. Definitely some players that have already committed. The coaching staff would not dare let a game like this go by without having some kids there to witness the night time atmosphere at Tech. I'll ask around and see if anyone else has any names.
 
This is a huge recruiting weekend. We should find out tomorrow who all will be attending. Landesburg will be here, probably around 15-20 football recruits as well 08 and 09, some unknowns, and then the commits will likely be here.
 
I heard that Mesk Wokomaty, the offensive tackle from East Paulding High School, will be in attendance tonight. Can anyone confirm? This kid has a serious frame on him. He is not fat either. The staff would not have to break him down before building him up like they have to with a lot of O-linemen.

Also, there are supposed to be several '09 recruits there as well. I have heard Brandon Watts, Ricky Hart, and Daniel Drummond may be in attendance. I haven't heard anything on J.C. Lanier but I hope that he comes. He and Ricky Hart on the defensive line together would be brutal.

Like I said before, you can almost guarantee that most of the '08 commits from the area will be there along with Uzzi.
 
Your right all of those guys will be in attendance. There will be more 09 recruits then you named, I would have to see the pass list to name them though and i dont have that in front of me. Still expecting between 15-20 recruits and Landesburg for basketball, Johnson, and Favors too.
 
Just checked it out, you can add Stephen Plein, Jim Teknipp, and Anthony Calhoun to the list. Also look for Pridemore, Jackson, Sylvester, McRae, Cooper Taylor, and Kam Riley is listed as a possibility. There's some more but I would think they are serious no names people wouldnt recognize, some from out of state too. More might be added tomorrow, maybe Little and Patterson.

Who are these basketball recruits that you mentioned? I would assume that Favors is Derrick Favors. Who is Johnson?

It seems like this weekend is mainly 2009 recruits (except Uzzi and Wokomaty)....Clemson will bring more 2008 recruits. We are thinking of having all committed players do their official visit against UGA.
Lots of our commits from this year will be their unofficially this weekend.
