Who is going to enroll in January? I know Emanuel Dieke is. Besides that ive seen Jordan Luallen and Julian Brunett may also. It seems there may be some more? Also if Dalcourt commits would we still take Aycock?

Not sure yet on early enrollees except Dieke. We wanted David Sims to badly...but his high school did not offer a way for him to take Spanish earlier. He is already in college placement course for his major subjects.

On Aycock....he is a stud. We hold a space for him until August of next year if we have to. I am sure of this. Had Aycock committed already we may not have taken Dalcourt should he commit this weekend (I am not sure of this...just get the feeling)....but even if Dalcourt commits we will take Aycock later. Things look good with Aycock...really good...almost like Izaan Cross good.

Thanks Hivered. Do you think we will offer Nolan Macmillian and Joel Kight?

We already have offered Nolan MacMillan and he visits next weekend. We love this big kid (6-5, 285, 4.93 forty; 3.85 GPA). Since this is his first year in the states he is having to get familiar with GT academics since that is most important to him. Prior to our contact, he was familiar with UVA, Stanford, Cal, etc. He will likely visit UVA..and when he meets some of their current players he will realize that they are not that smart.

Kight will get an offer as an AB/OLB from what I understand after the transcripts clear....look how long it took for Burnett! The Hill does not help us at all...regardless whether Braine or DRad.

Thanks again. The top three guys i want to commit are Dontae Aycock, Darren Myles, and Nolan Macmillan. With Izzan Cross a close 4th.

Not a complete disagreement...but since we already have 4 OL's coming in and 3 coming off redshirts...I would want Cross first over MacMillan because he is the only DT body type we are recruiting other than Lanier...and we need numbers.

Neither Lanier or Cross are anything like Richard, Walker, or Anyaibe...but we need numbers in the middle badly.

just my two cents worth

I thought Cross was a DE?

He is, but with his frame 6-4 250 he could easily be bulked up over the next 2 years (By RS Soph year) to be a Vance Walker type DT...We most definetly need numbers at DT very badly. Let's hope he wont be needed at DT the next year or two, but we are extremley thin at DT going forward.

I also see Jason Hill possibley moved over in 2009 his SR. year, for emergency need (Meaning if we were to have a couple of our regular 4 in the rotation go down) he could fill in.

After watching the Flowery Branch game yesterday, I feel that Cross will definitely be a DT. He did not move as well as I thought he would. Not quick enough side to side to be an effective DE. He looked bigger than 250 to me, but it could be that the other team was small. Don't get me wrong, I want him badly, but I agree with Hiveredtech that he will most likely end up at DT. Just my opinion!

Just read on Volnation that Aycock is going to visit them. All of a sudden i dont like our chances anymore.

Because Kiffin is a great recruiter and Reaves is known to do a ton of negative recruiting.

I think South Carolina's RB recruiter (Same one recruiting Aycock) went to UT. That's why he is visiting them.

They have lots of RB commits already.

Is UT recruiting him as a qb or as an athlete? I thought our big appeal was that we're the only one's interested in him as a qb?

UT wants him as a RB. Im not saying its over. Because its not. Im just saying its going to be hard to beat those guys.
