Anyone concerned about CPJ’s recruiting. Seems to be falling further and further behind.

PJ is recruiting as well as he ever has and as well as any Tech coach has since Dodd.

New uniforms, new locker room, larger recruiting staff (all of which are recent developments) will help improve recruiting.
 
Hooray. Another one of these threads. This is a slightly better than average class for GT since they started keeping track of this stuff but you do you, boo.

Is this a ööööing joke?

I know about winning, because I've been doing it my entire life. And you don't just have to take my word for it - the proof is emblazoned on the ring I wear for the high school football region championship (3-way tie) we won senior year, as well as the three stripes on the letter jacket I still proudly wear some 20 years later.

But my successes are not limited to the football field. As the supervisor for a home entertainment installation crew, I rake in $29.35/hr plus bennies and a free cell phone. This allows me to live in an apartment complex with a pool, computer lab, and passcode-protected security gate. I also project an image of success.

And the kicker:

I am a die-hard UGA football fan. While I did not attend school there (dropped out of Perimeter after three semesters when I realized college was a Ponzi scheme), no fan does more for the team’s success. I break down film of each game and tweet recommendations at the coaching staff and players. I have no qualms about barking at you, your children, or your aging grandparents if I see you wearing another school’s colors. I also pull out all the stops when it comes to recruiting, tweeting at or sending Facebook messages to recruits, their family members, or their friends. Some call it over the top - I call it being "all in."

Would have to slightly disagree with "as well as any Tech coach has since Dodd" comment.

I think Ross had the most incredible eye for evaluating talent that just about any coach I have seen anywhere. Plus he got some great ones as well.

Ross was incredible for sure, but he did not recruit in the same academic environment CPJ has had to. Without Ross's "exceptions", no MNC.

Yes, and think it helps . No where near a Duke , Stanford , or ND as examples . When the rules changed, player must progress a number of credits towards a degree per year , it changed things. Help is provided for all student athletes here, but have to put in the work. Some degrees are easier and have more , but no where like above schools . It's who we are, and we can win big. Keep on getting better in things stated with added personal in recruiting , facilities, and degrees .
