romegajacket...you probably have not seen my posts...but you cannot compare the Rivals and Scout star ranking....just as you cannot with any service.

Rivals gives out less 4 and 5 stars than Scout...it is all a ranking system.

Just like some services have 10 star systems...that one is just more obviously different.

In many cases a 3 star on Rivals is a 4-star on Scout.

The national writers on both Rivals and Scout have been raving about the GT class.

...of course Philip Wheeler and KMike were 2 stars!!
 
I noticed UGA is doing a hell of a job out of state, 3 recruits just from Chatham Virginia:...

Just on the off chance that you're not being facetious - the Chatham, VA recruits are Hargrave Military Academy students, aka non-qualifiers. They're not necessarily from Virginia.

I just realized my post was worded poorly...I was doing two things at once.

What I should have said is I wondered the same thing, inquired to Rivals, then posted their response twice over here. That is when they explained that a 3-star often is the same overall player ranking as a 4-star on another site because they give out less 4 and 5 stars.

Sorry for the somewhat snotty sounding post.
