The last couple of weeks have been amazing. It's been a long, long time since I've felt this excited for this long during the season. It's nice to see our guys playing meaningful football again.

Go Jackets, break the Hokies' necks.

I don't think I've ever been as ready for a game as I have this one. It's this remarkably confident feeling and knowing that even though I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a pleasant outcome, I'm going to scream my head off and show more support for the Jackets on Saturday night than I've ever shown before.

Plus I can't believe all the invites to Facebook groups that I'm getting... "I've never cheered as loud as I did vs. VT", "Be Loud, Be Proud", "Jacket Pride: 10/17/09"... On forums, in emails, even CPJ's radio show where he asked fans to be in their seats at 5:45...

We're preparing for a fight. Not like FSU preparing for us where they were cornered, but like David prepared for Goliath. He knew what was up. We know what we're going up against. FSU wasn't going down without a fight. We're not going down, period.

Go Jackets, To HELL with Georgia, and BEAT THE HOKIES!

Like Derrick Moore said in a pregame speech last year - this game is about taking what is rightfully ours.

We gonna FIGHT till we can't FIGHT no more
We gonna lay down and bleed a while
Then we gonna GET UP and FIGHT some more!

Sorry, Father Mario but that's some pretty good stuff there.

I thought about that one too. That video of Tashard is about as intense as it gets.

+1 to this entire thread. I'm uneasy about how pumped I am for this game. Expectations are set to "high," right where PJ wants em.

Just look past the "2006" and "Chan Gailey era" stuff...

Rashaun Grant would have been a sick A-back in PJ's scheme.

I was just thinking that whole team would have been sick under CPJ. Tashard and Grant at a-back, Mike Cox at b-back, the Johnsons on the edge (James Johnson for all his faults could block like a mo-fo), good offensive line and that was one of the best collections of defensive talent we'd had amassed in a single season in a long time.

Seriously an 11-1, 12-0 regular season type team with the relatively favorable schedule we had.

Damnit I am ready for TML!
