Any chance you think our coaching staff is preparing to "hustle" UGA? We all know Reggie has been banged up. We all know that defenses now don't have to worry about him running because of this. Any chance we are making things look worse than they really are just to sucker in UGA by not making them prepare for that threat? Just a thought I had tonight - I mean, really, we should be able to beat UNC and Duke without him running at all...thoughts?

We coulda used his running against Clemson or NC State.

I don't think our coaches are the types to do this.

I think anything is possible to an extent...but Reggie is certainly playing hurt. The QB draw has been there and it is definitely not part of the game plan right now. Another guy we have to get healthy quick is Mike Cox.

Another guy we need to get well is ME. I have had a cold for a week now and have not been feeling so well. I have pulled us through some close games this year in the 4th quarter through my determined and unfailing will to win. I am going to take the weeend off and try to kick this thing as I think you guys can handle Dukie by yourselves. I want to be fit to go all out turkey weekend and for the ACCCG. The team needs me.

:laugher: :laugher: :laugher:

I don't think it's very likely, but I have to say...

...Ive thought the same thing myself. I slight variation on it that I'm hoping will be true will be that for Georgia we will put the draws back in and cross our fingers that Reggie can run them without aggravating the leg.

That's one nasty mess that's going around right now. The wife has it, but can't take anything too strong due to the pregnancy so she keeps giving it back to me. Several people here at work have it as well.

Had we taken care of UNC handedly, I would be inclined to think the same thing; however, we could have used Reggie's legs during that game if they were actually there. With Duke being our last game, it may be possible Chan uses this tactic as Reggie can get a lawnchair out and still win this one. First down - give to TC. Second down - give to TC - he's gone!!!!

i don't we were faking it in the past couple of games. However, reports are that Ball have been getting around better in pratice. With us facing Duke, I think you may see us not run any QB draws or bootlegs, as we should be able to move the ball on then, just running down their throats. Keep Ball's mobility in question for uga.

exactly...I do not care if we do not attempt a forward pass the entire game and just run.

Of course, it scares the crap out of me to try that without a fullback potentially since Mike Cox is banged up. Matthews has filled in for those situations and he is out injured with absolute certainty.

The one play we need is the QB Choice. It's an excellent play if Ball is healthy b/c he is either gloing off tackle one way, or Tashard is going off tackle the other way.
