Reggie ineligible per AJC.....

gtfan, there will be no thumbs up or five-star rating from me. I wanted RB replaced with TB for the Gator Bowl and now I have my wish. But I did not want to see it come about in this fashion.

You have your starting QB and a starting CB ruled academically ineligible, both of whom happen to be seniors. That's just not good, it's not good for the SA's, not good for the team, not good for the coaching staff and not good for the school. I hate that this has happened.

Man - Could anyone possibly finish his college career in a worse way than Reggie? (OK, there is always Maurice Clarett...)

RB's situation doesn't bother me a whole lot - I feel sorry for Kenny Scott, though.

i do feel for both players and the team, but that being said it is really left up to them to make the grades. it was different circumstances but does anyone remember the liberty bowl and jim stevens at qb.

Clarett did win the NC. Not even close to this embarassment.

Are you serious? We don't know how Reggie's story is going to end but I highly doubt it will end with him owing an ungodly amount of money to the mafia and caught by the police with a flak jacket, several illegal firearms, and a bottle of grey goose.

Are we talking GT or RB? I am not sugar coating MC's career, but if you are going to sum up academics/off field and on the field, then RB had a worse COLLEGE career. If RB finishes and gets his degree, then I agree with you.

Fixed.
