In an interview with Mark Winne, Reggie said he got a D in a database management class. He indicated he would have earned a B, but he turned in some work late on a group project and got a D. He then went on to say that he thought it was turned in on time and he plans to appeal the grade. Didn't mention email, just that work was late.

He said he would have to sit out a semester, but planned on reapplying to be admitted next semester and is going to finish his degree. He said that was his main reason for coming to Tech....to get his degree and not just to play football.

At the end, he said he could have worked harder in the class and done some things differently that would have resulted in a better outcome.

I was impressed that he didn't place the blame on anyone but himself.

I certainly may have missed plenty during the last 4 years, but this interview was just plain weird. Don't think I have ever seen him interviewed outside of post game bits.
Just strange that most of us know so little about a 4 year QB.

I agree PW, surreal to see him speak in that interview. I'm sure part of it was seeing him out of uniform, with a calm demeanor, etc.

Wasn't Eddie McShan number 1? A couple of guys that drop off the radar but leave an indelible trail.

Shame on you, Chan Gailey.

We 'preciate you Brother Reggie.

A TECH MAN.

Coach Dodd would be proud. He just would have done it 110% smarter.

What do you mean? Jersey no.?

I have come into contact with McAshan during the past year. He had been working at Life College for Dr. Sid and and Roger Couch. He's kinda' wandering right now.

Yep... read this Gailey quote again if anyone has any doubt...

"We would have probably been able to look at some things to help them a little bit better down toward the end of the semester if we realized they were in this situation," Gailey said.

I wonder how many UGAyers could even spell 'database management'?

Alot of them can spell "parks and recreational mangement".

BTW, why aren't our state and local parks run any better than they are with so many graduates coming out of Athens? Our tax dollars at work...

My guess is a lot of those ugaggers know that "a lot" is two words and not one.

Don't think many GT grads and fans should mock folks' spelling as GT is known for some pathetic writing and use of grammar.
