Keep in mind that Reggie has not run but maybe a couple of QB draws since the MD game. He was running 10-15 times a game up to that point which is a great percentage of our offense. His ability to run the draw had really opened up everything. It forced the opposing defenses to hold a LB in to shadow Reggie. Because of his injury we have not had that threat. He has had to become a pocket passer, and I think everyone would agree that is not his strong suit. I am very proud of what Reggie & the offense has done with the hand they have been delt and still been successful. Hopefully Reggie will have time to heal before the ACCCG so we can have our offense at full strength. Congrats GT on continuing to show heart and more improtantly, as Chan stated, "CHARACTER". Im so very proud to wear my Tech shirt, because of what we represent on and off the field. :hsugh:

This is very true. We have had one less dimension in our offense. I wonder if we will get that back. It seems to me that Reggie could still run the keeper, but maybe slide down after 5-10 yards rather than get beat up trying to go for an extra couple of yards.

People do not realize how much Reggie's injury has hampered our offense. I watch people on this board argue about his effectiveness, and I have seen this fact brought up very little. That being said, we are still putting up plently of points to win ball games. This is a tribute to our staff to find ways to win the game even though we are without 33% of our offensive output (Reggie's rushing). This is one of the best coaching jobs I have seen in recent memory. Alot of people want to say this is the same old inconsistent Reggie with two more costly INT's. I disagree, Reggie is being placed in a postion he is not comfortable with by being one-dimensional (a non-threat to run except out of desparation). I am very proud of our team and staff. Hopefully, we can dominate the line of scrimmage against UNC and Duke with TC and RG, in order to get Reggie some much needed rest.:fingersx:

Does anybody really what the status of Reggie's injury is or what exactly his injury is? I don't want to risk him on running plays against UNC and Duke, but I'm hoping we can bring back the QB runs against UGA, who has had a ton of problems at LB this year.

Exactly. It should be Reggie throwing and the Tashard Choice show the next 2 weeks. We need Reggie to be able to scramble and run the draw in Athens. Let's not risk injury with him the next 2 weeks. Jump on these next 2 and them put them away. UGA can easily be had this year, and it would be even sweeter to do it in Athens.
