although I feel Reggie is our best option I was pleased to see Taylor compete yesterday.

CG's comments after the game seemed to indicate he was somewhat surprised w/ Taylor's performance as well.

I think the coaches might be a little more willing to open up the offense (risk Reggie) now that Taylor performed to a high level although it was Dook.

b/c our D is SO STRONG we would have a good chance of winning the next two games w/ Reggie OR Taylor IMO.

I have been saying that(but maybe not on here) all year! bennett is TALL, a LEFTY, and has a CANNON! I was VERY impressed with his play on Saturday! Heck, Id even be for him getting some snaps against the Mutts, if Reggie decides to have a " Typical Reggie' kinda game!

What impressed me the most is that Taylor was doing that with the second team offense...He did well enough out there as it was, but think how well he could have done with the johnson's out there and also TC (although evans did great as well).

I would have to say that w/ TB in UGA would come harder on D. Would change the complexion of our offense. I like our chances most THIS year with RB. tB will be the QB next year.

I was pleasantly surprised to see TB perform well on Saturday... But let's not get ahead of ourselves. He wasn't any more accurate than RB. I can think of at least two badly-thrown balls and one badly-thrown interception.

To be fair, I don't think he tried any super-long-bombs. He was mostly over the middle, which was nice. Reggie was on the money with several bombs (only one caught though).

That's my assessment as well. He showed the ability to run the offense as well as Reggie does, minus the QB draws. He's not a better QB, but he does seem to have the ability to be as good a pocket QB as Reggie.

I don't think he tried any super-long-bombs.

He threw two in a row, on 2nd and 3rd and 20. They were good reads, though, into single coverage, and fairly well thrown.

I kept wanting TB to get pressured, see how he moved, but chasing down the snap that went over his head and getting rid of it to save the yardage was pretty good work under pressure, IMO.
