I wish that Chan Gailey had not made a big deal about the VT D backs comment. I have a bad feeling that RB will go mental like he has in the past.

If he does, I hope that Nix has the authority to make changes.
Better yet, I hope that Reggie shows the maturity of a 4 year quarterback.

I think that's what Chan is trying to point out to him. He's inconsistent and doesn't give Calvin a chance to show what he can do. He's trying to show Reggie that it's about performance, not bravado. Hope he takes it that way.

One thing that is consistent with the VT program is they always come out with a lot of emotion...particularly at home...much more so than any other team I can thing of. They go for the jugular early at home. It is paramount that the visiting team not come out flat and hang with them close at least the first qtr., if not the first half. Once you get over the emotional VT hump you can beat them there.

I am all for doing anything that will help us to not come out flat or else they can get up 14-0 quickly.
