October 21: @ Clemson- This game is very similar to the VT game two weeks ago, we will be underdogs going to play a higher ranked team on the road in a hostile environment, but if we come out hot and razor sharp like we did against VT, we will most certainly win, come out flat, well you know the result. Biggest concerns for this game would have to be on kickoff returns and their rushing game. Davis is a beast and the Freshman Spiller is spectacular. Combined the duo has over 1100 yards on the season yikes! But if our D can contain them and force them to beat us through the air we will certainly win as Proctor is a decent, but inexperienced QB. I've heard reports that Chansi Stuckey will not play in this game due to injury which takes some pressure off our kick coverage team. If we "Yellow Jacket Ball" we will win and that is exactly what I think will indeed happen.
Projected Result: GT Win 27-20

October 28: Miami(FL) a.k.a. scUM- This game really could go either way depending on how Miami performs these next two weeks, judging from the way they are playing now, we should crush them. However they are still Miami and are capable of turning it around in two weeks as they have two cupcakes before playing us: Florida International and Duke. If they win in impressive fashion we could have a ballgame but if they struggle like they did against Houston and UNC, we will have no problems. Assuming that they turn it around, our main concern here is a running back who is getting little press: Javarris James(Edge James's cousin). He has gotten better each game and could be a huge problem for us. I'm not concerned with their passing attack as their top receiver Darnell Jenkins is out for the season and Ryan Moore is still suspended I believe, and because Jared Wright sucks imo. I forsee Miami winning not very impressively over FIU and Duke and will come into BDS@GF scared and w/o that Miami swagger, just ripe for a homecoming rout.
Predicted result: GT wins 31-14

November 4: @ North Carolina State- To be honest with everyone, this game scares the living shit out of me just as the Maryland game did and we all know that one went down to the wire. NCST probably will have an ACC loss at this point either from Wake Forest, Maryland, or UVA one of these 3 teams will beat them. With that said this is a dangerous game, number one simply because of our history with NCST losing to them when we are not supposed to last year and in 2000. Number two, NCST is a decent team which has shown some resilancy after an attrocious start to the year losing to Akron and Southern Mississippi, but with wins over F$U and BC, they are quite capable of an upset. The BC game was a miracle but their tough play put themselves in the position to allow a miracle to happen, and they flat out defeated F$U last Thursday night. I am not familiar with any of their personel, but I do know they do not have Mario Williams anymore, so our O should be able to move the ball unlike last year. I will say this, if we come out flat at all, we will lose this game no questions asked, NCST is probably a better team than Maryland is so we cannot afford getting behind by 10 points again if we hope to win. I feel we narrowly lose this game, because we will be coming down from emotional victories over Miami and Clemson therefore probably coming out flat just like against Maryland.I have to be realistic in having us lose onew more game so therefore this is the game I choose for us to lose.
Predicted Result: NCST wins 28-24

November 11-18: @ North Carolina and Duke
There is no analysis needed for these games. We will win even if we do come out flat, but I feel that we will be up for both of them following my predicted loss @NCST. These games will get ugly before halftime and the scoring will be low in the second half due to back-ups and Freshmen getting PT.
Predicted Results: Duke: GT wins 41-3, UNC: GT wins 38-7

November 25: Clean Old Fashioned Hate @ UGAy- I honestly believe this year is the year the 5 year drought against these assholes ends. From what I have seen of UGAy this season, I have been unimpressed. Barely beating Colorado, barely beating Mississippi, shutting out Conference USA and Division I-AA cupcakes, and most recently, getting smoked in the cesspool by Tennessee. Their offense is bad to begin with in addition to the fact that their QB situation is in utter chaos. Tereshitski sucks major cock but has some experience and the two Frosh have some talent but have no experience. They will struggle to score points against our tough D. What could cause problems is UGAy's D, although they had 51 points put on them by UT, they are still very talented and held us to 7 points last year(however we have a much more potent offense this year with Nix at the helm). Besides their D, the only other area for concern is their kick and punt returners: Henderson and Flowers(yes that asshole who returned that punt against us to set up the go ahead TD after being obviously aided by clips and holds). If we keep their return game in check and score 20+ points, we will win easily. Remember the last time we won it was in the Cesspool so I guess it is only fitting to us to break the streak in the cesspool.
Predicted Result: GT wins 24-14

As you can see I believe that will we finish the regular season 10-2 and go 7-1 in the conference, we will win the Coastal and go to the Championship game on December 2. As for who we will play, I would put money on either BC, NCST, or Clemson. I see Wake Forest struggling, Maryland continue to suck as expected, and F$U continue to struggle as they will all remove themselves from contention for the Atlantic title.

Nice write-up.

One thing I would note on NCState is they are really two different teams this year. Pre-Evans @ QB they were 1-2. With Evans at QB they are 2-0 and are moving the ball. He is a tremendous spark and provides energy, leadership..and much more talent than did Stone. In 2.5 games he is 36 of 64 for 466 yds. and 5 TD's. I have to think our D can set him back a bit.

At Clemson is perhaps our toughest game left, followed closely by at UGA.

You hit the nail on the head with Miami. They are a sleeping giant as they have the athletes. They will not have given up yet as they will be 5-2 coming in with only 1 ACC loss....which means a win against us gives them the division title should they win out in conference....thus controlling their own destiny. Coker will remind them that their game against us could lead them to a BCS bowl.

The good news for us is that if we beat Miami...we could lose to NCState and Clemson and still go to the ACC Championship should we handle UNC and Duke (which we will easily).

Good Analysis, but I'm not a big fan of the NCState loss. I think the Jackets still have a bad taste in their mouth about last year's game and should get up for the game and if the Jackets get up, the Wolfpack will go down. GT-24...NCST-10

After seeing NCST's performance today, I agree we should without a doubt win but I do have a bad taste in my mouth from last year. Hopefully we get up for it but I have a bad feeling.

We'll know after the next two weeks where we stand.
2 wins =ACCCG
2 losses=out of ACCCG
1-1 Clemson win UM loss = Up in the air
1-1 UM win CU loss= ACCCG
More nervous about the Clemson game and REALLY unsure about the UM game.

nicely put. We will find out what we can expect from scUM after today and next Saturday, if they struggle at all in these games, we will know they are a joke. scUM should manhandle each of these opponents: Florida International today and Duke next week.

Fine analysis. Excellent. Some of the best I've seen but you still have to play the games one at a time.

Don't start counting our chicks but I 'preciate the support and enthusiasm.

Great analysis. Now let's go whip the socks off of Clem's son!

GO TECH! GO YELLOW JACKETS!!!

NC State isn't looking so tough at 3-3...

Again...you have to throw 2 of the 3 NCState losses out the window....completely different team with Daniel Evans at QB instead of Marcus Stone.

They lost to Wake, but really played Wake no differently than Clemson did. Clemson just came back and slipped past them to win, while NCState fell just short.

We have to be ready to play a big game away from home at NCState or we will get beat.

But lets focus on Clemson first...a win there helping us and helping Boston College. The Miami game is EVERYTHING to us at this point.
