If UVA can take care of VPI for us (and them to become bowl-eligible), we will be in the ACCCG (no big news there). Our opponent will either be BC or F$U. I would much rather see BC - not because I think we have a better chance with them, but because I want to see us demolish them now that the team knows this offense a little better.

Sorry for stating something so dumb but what needs to happen for BC to get in the ACCCG? Just need FSU to lose?

My guess is the tobacco road elite is really praying for a GT FSU matchup. It will pack the stadium for the first time and make the ACC championship something to watch.

We need to focus on one game at a time. Beat UGA this weekend and alot of other things come together for us. Very achievable this year.

BC beat Maryland- BC goes
BC lose- FSU goes

I think thats how it is playing out.

I would rather see BC b/c if we play FSU in Tampa the place is going to be packed with criminole fans.

I will worry about that after Saturday though.

BC is limping along right now. They barely survived against Wake. I would not mind playing them with a shot at a BCS title on the line. Playing them is the only way VPISU will have a prayer at being the ACC champ. FSU will mop the floor with the Hokes.

Ideal scenario: (as far as the ACC's rep goes)

1. Clemson, FSU, GT all beat their SEC counterparts.

2. BC loses to Maryland

3. Virginia Tech loses to Virginia.

this is the only way our conference will get mad respect.

I would rather play FSU than BC. Although, I would rather put up with BC's fans much more than FSU's crazy fans. Not to mention their damn battle cry.

We should defeat either team, but I think that we have a better chance of defeating FSU because they don't matchup with us as well as BC.

F$U is not going to beat Florida. If they do, I'll be scared to death if we play them again.

I just read that BC will be using a backup QB (Dominique Davis) in place of Chris Crane who broke his collarbone vs. Wake. Davis has only played in 3 games this year (UCF/Rhode Island/Wake) I expect them to lose bad.

I don't know if Maryland can blow out BC regardless of quarterback. In fact, at times Crane hurts BC much more than he helps them by throwing pick-6s or fumbling. Last week Wake had one offensive TD and 2 fumble recoveries for TDs. If BC can limit turnovers, their defense can do enough to at least keep them in it until the end.
