I thought the Mercer game was the only goldout of the season.

There's been a growing push to make every game a goldout except the annual white out. The thought process behind this that gold will be our battle color, just like how uGA wears red and Clempson wears orange. Hopefully it will improve the atmosphere and feel of unity at home games (think whiteout games)

According to this article from The Technique, the Gold-Out was for Childhood Cancer, as both GT & Vandy have gold as a primary color.
