Love the new look on the site, but I got two questions...

1.) When you used to open a thread it would take you to the newest post or the bookmarked spot in the thread that you last read. Now it starts you at the beginning and you have to scroll through which for large threads is sometimes confusing. Is there a way to fix it?

2.) When will you guys be updating the prediction contest board?

Not beestorm etc, but I've been using the 'view first unread' button at the top left in the brown/tan bar. Sorry for the bad description, I'm no web designer. Can you see the button I am referring to?
 
It should be under the blue Post Reply button close to the top of the page. And it will show up if there have been news posts since you looked at the thread.

It only appears if there are NEW posts.

Updating with last years results or what? If its last years results, I will get to that this week I think. Anyway, its on the list. :fingersx:

Absolutely! Great job on the update. One question.

The poop scrolls a little too far to the right than it used to (a Hive inconvenience). Just curious, but why does it have to do this? I'm not an internet newbie by any means. Why does the new gear cause me right/left jockey?

Id be happy to answer your question if I understood. Try and be more specific.
 
I think what he's saying is the page comes off center. To see the whole page I have to scroll over a little. I don't know if that's something to do with the site or my setup.

ah ok... I built it with a minimum of 1024x768 in mind. My apologies to you guys using the lower resolutions. :ugh:
 
Question: Is there a quick route back to the thread index after making a post?
I am getting worn out hitting the "back" button. Thanks!

If you wait a couple of secs, you should be redirected back to the thread. there should also be a click here to return to thread option.
